Just last week I had to use a spring scale for my science class. It is a cool little device, no bigger than the size of your fist. However the reason it is ingenious is because unlike traditional scales where you have to put whatever object you are weighing on top of the scale, the spring scale makes it so that you put it underneath. Getting in shape gets a lot harder as you get older.
