Three Changes To The Cpa Exam For 2011
Comments OffIf you didn’t know and you plan to pass the cpa exam in 2011, there will be a few changes. First of all, an addition will be made to the content of the exam. IFRS will be included for all categories except for REG. It won’t be included in REG, because the US IFRS-GAAP conversion is not complete. So the companies in the US are not really used to this system. Besides the content changes there will also be some changes in the format of the exam. The written communications tab will be removed from FAR, AUD and REG. However BEC will have three written communication questions. Because of these changes the duration of each part of the exam will be different. FAR will be kept as long as it was until now, BEC will be longer by three hours and AUD will be shorter by four hours. That’s about all you need to know about the changes for 2011.
